We need a tank!
Admit it or not, we often hear this line, especially in lower rank games. There are only two conclusions after this. Either someone will sacrifice and BE a tank, you’ll end up getting a team full of ego-centric marksmen.
There are only two reasons EVER why people take the role of a tank. Either they’re a tank main or a player who knows how to sacrifice for the sake of winning. In most cases, it is the latter.
But don’t worry. Even if you genuinely love being a tank or just forced to, we’re here to help you. We compiled a list of the top 10 best tanks in Mobile Legends to help you out if ever you’re forced to play tank again. We’ve scattered some Mobile Legends tank tips along the way.
Who knew that a tiny elf girl could be a tank?
The worst mistake someone could make is to underestimate her. You see, her hp may seem like she’s not a tank, but she’s an excellent crowd controller.
Most players pick her because her ultimate is useful and effective for setting up an ambush. In this move, Lolita drops down her huge hammer dealing huge damage to enemies within range as well as stunning them. You can take it even further by using flicker to make sure no one can escape.
Uranus is one of the toughest tanks on the game. That coupled with his regenerative capabilities could make him almost invincible.
Uranus is great in team fights. His passive alone is worth mentioning because if he gets attacked, he will regenerate. He excels the most when he is with a damage dealer.
The only downside to him is that he is weak against heroes with high-burst damage such as Aurora or Eudora. Because of that, his main mission is to eliminate assassins and fighters during team fights.
Hilda is another tank with seemingly unlimited health – provided she is always in the bush.
Hilda is a tank who excels in one on one fights especially against mages or assassins. Her combo starting with her ultimate attack is a deadly one. She can raise her speed then stun her opponent in a flash.
Although she is also great at team fights, that’s not her specialty. Unleash her true potential by teaming up with a mage or a marksman and pushing hard.
Franco is a Viking with a hook. He’s out to bully anyone who gets on his way.
A pro using Franco’s hook is a nightmare to deal with. His hook combined with his stun and attack combo can easily eliminate his opponent.
But to get to this level, one must go through the rigorous hook training expecting to hook 100 times without succeeding. Only those worthy enough (pro) can wield his hook with 90%+ accuracy.
Belerick is one of the most underrated heroes in the entire game. That’s because most people don’t know how to play him.
He is a regen type meaning, his durability is his main selling point. He deals damage by sucking the health off his enemies. He can also create a shield for his allies which makes him an ideal front man.
If played in his full potential, he can become a beast.
Gatotkaca is one of the toughest tanks in the game.
His ultimate is such a game changer that can pummel multiple enemies in a single strike. What’s even more interesting is that he can force enemy heroes to hit him automatically, allowing his allies to deal damage to the enemy team freely.
His ultimate can also be used to escape enemy ambush due to its long range.
Akai is one of the favorites to use among tank users. He is incredibly fun and easy to play with if you know what you’re doing.
This panda is the perfect team player that can surround and attack enemy players in an instant. His ultimate allows him to roll around and push enemies close to his allies for an easy kill.
His knockback power and stun are what makes him such a fun tank to play with because no one can escape him.
Minotoaur is one of the toughest and biggest heroes even among the tanks.
If his rage bar is full, he can knock all enemies in the air! He is not someone you want to cross paths with especially if you’re alone.
But that’s not all, he can also heal himself and his surround allies. That’s insane because he already has an enormous amount of hp.
What makes Grock so strong is the fact that he can literally trap his opponents!
When Grock casts his Guardian’s Barrier, the wall can trap enemy heroes allowing him and his allies to team up on those trapped. This move can also be used when escaping from enemies.
He is a beast when played with the right team. It’s best to keep him away from his allies as much as possible when facing him.
This is a hero that’s almost always banned in rank games – and there’s a good reason for that!
For one, he is a very tough hero, even among the tank class. This allows him to absorb damage protecting his teammates almost all the time.
Secondly, his ultimate transforms him into a car that an ally can ride. He can literally go everywhere on the map with ease and surprise unsuspecting enemies in a blink of an eye.
So, if you see a car that’s coming by, chances are it’s already too late. The only way to counter this is to just be close to your teammates always.
