This axe was loved by everyone when Season 1 started. There are still upcoming pickaxe skins that are similar to Raider’s Revenge, but this axe will never be replaced by its rusty-looking axe.

8. Skull Sickle
Rarity: Epic
The Skull Sickle will transform the player’s pickaxe into a cool-looking spectral-like sickle that looks extremely sharp and scary. Despite the name of the item, the sickle does not have any skulls or skeleton decals and instead features a sleek-looking blue metal edge that emits a ghostly blue aura. Seeing this in the lobby is really an eye-catching pickaxe. Using this harvesting tool skin will not grant any added functionality or benefit to the player. It’s part of the Skull Squad Set, along with the Skull Trooper Outfit. This skin was released in preparation for the 2018 Halloween.

7. AC/DC

The good old AC/DC. From the looks of it, this can electrify your enemy. But no, it’s just an effect and won’t affect the damage and speed at which you harvest resources. A simple pickaxe skin with a coil of electricity. Few patches have been made for this pickaxe skin. The audio of it has been lowered on Patch Update (July 24, 2018).
So, you don’t need to worry about hearing any “zip zap” from your enemy. It was also disabled on September 11, 2019, due to a damage glitch similar to Star Wand.

This pickaxe is a premium tier 63 Battle Pass reward. You have to purchase the Battle Pass and level it up to tier 63.
6. Trusty No. 2
Rarity: Epic
Epic and weird at the same time. If you look closer at it, you’ll see a pencil at the back and a knife at the front. Merging them together, and… A pickaxe! With its simple and black style, it fits well with any other character skins that have the same color. Swinging it around won’t make too much noise like the other pickaxe skins.
Everyone loves the style of it, not too big not too noisy. One reason is because of the pencil at the back. The pencil is actually the reason why this reaches the Top 6.

5. Vision
Rarity: Rare
A spiky shovel with an eye in it. Now you know why it’s called Vision. It was released on 01/12/2019 and was last available last month. Pretty sure they will release it back again for future patches. Should we call this a pickaxe? Or a shovel? Let’s just call it Vision.
Its creepy looking eye in the middle makes it creepier. Some say the eye closes when you swing it continuously making it dizzy. About the sound effects, it’s not that much of a big deal since it’s a normal sound, not too noisy not too silent. It matches best with its set, of course. But it can also be matched with other sets with the same color. It looks like a Medieval theme in it as you look closer. Making it scarier.

4. Stellar Axe
Rarity: Epic
The magnificent and starry axe. Forged by the galaxy itself. This pickaxe is the winner if you’re talking about a glowing pickaxe. Making you an extraordinary player in the lobby. It gives a shining star around it and a dark blue shade indicating the galaxy. Making it so stunning and unique. Nothing can describe this axe but it’s awesomeness.
The sound of it every time you swing, mine, chop, is normal like the others. In every update, some of the pickaxe’s sounds are changed.

It can be obtained through Samsung Galaxy Promotions. Can also be obtained along with the Galaxy skin by purchasing Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
3. Rainbow Smash
RARITY: epic
Of course, you waited for this. There’s no way this will be taken out of the Top 10.
Used by most streamers to date. With its cool feature that lights up every time you get kills. Can be seen in every part of the Internet. Rainbow Smash became a hit on YouTube by the YouTubers made fun of the axe. Cosplays with awesome effects in it is very astonishing. Fan art is all over the place, that’s why when you see this axe, you know this looks familiar.
Matches its Set of Sunshine and rainbows. This pickaxe resembles the rainbow and the sunshine making it look like a kid’s toy. But still, even if it looks like a toy, it can chop you down.

Pretty sure everyone will use this axe this Christmas.
A candy with a pointy tip and Christmas lights around the candy makes it cool and scary at the same time. This Holiday, the candy axe will dominate the lobby, glowing lights all over. Tasty candy everywhere. Candy Axe was one of the more sought-after holiday cosmetics. The Candy Axe depicts a sharpened candy cane wrapped in Christmas lights.
The great thing about this pickaxe is that the lights grow brighter as you get more eliminations! It was one of the original “reactive” cosmetics. It returned to the item shop again for Christmas in 2018. So, let’s hope it returns this Christmas too. It was very infrequently in the shop, and only available during Christmas of 2017 and late January of 2018.

The undefeated Pickaxe. The one that dominates every pickaxe ranking.
It is in a unique situation of being almost ubiquitous on promotional Fortnite: Battle Royale materials but rarely seen in-game. One of the most sought-after Harvesting Tools in the game. It didn’t return to the store for almost a year, but finally came back out again during Fortnitemares in 2018. And we’ll see if this item will return this year.
The Reaper is a rare pickaxe skin that will turn the default harvesting tool into a big scythe with reference to the Grim Reaper’s Scythe. With its minimal and simple design, with an almost silent sound every time you swing it or slice some enemies, these are the reasons why everyone loves it.
Due to it’s really rare and released every year, everyone’s waiting every day for news saying that the Reaper is back.
