Brawl Stars offers a competitive brawler/shoot em’ up style game with different brawlers and maps. Speaking of brawlers, not all of them are created equally.
Sure, each player has their own top 10 list of the best brawlers and certain brawlers are good at their respective maps. But for this list, we’ve rounded down the best of the best based on overall stats, compatibility with game modes and rarity.
With 25 brawlers in the game at the time of writing this, here is our list of the top 10 best brawlers in Brawl Stars.
Pam is a mid-range shooter with a wide-range of capabilities. The number one reason why she is currently the best is because of her versatility. Her Super allows her to summon a turret that heals her and her surrounding allies. This alone makes her the best overall brawler in Brawl Stars.
Her best game modes would be Gem Grab, Showdown, and Siege. It doesn’t mean though that she doesn’t excel at other game modes. In fact, she excels in most modes and maps! Lastly, her rarity is Epic (3rd rarest) which makes her not too hard to unlock.
For some, Leon is their best brawler. We couldn’t agree more, in fact, the only reason why Leon is in second place is because of his rarity, Legendary, which is the rarest type of brawlers. This means that unless they are incredibly lucky, he is extremely hard to get for free-to-play players.
What makes Leon stand out from the rest is his decent attack power, agility, and his Super which is invisibility. When he first came out, many people thought that he was overpowered. Supercell had no choice but to nerf him many times. But even if that’s the case, he’s still an overall great brawler today. Leon’s best game modes would be Gem Grab, Showdown, and Bounty.
Penny is a long-range brawler that shoots a bag of coins damaging the target and anyone standing behind. Her Super is a mortar that deals incredible damage to anyone in its range.
Unleash Penny’s true ability by charging up her Super which is a mortar. Enemy brawlers will find it annoying having to constantly dodge the mortar shells and if unsuccessful will yield incredible damage. Because of this, Penny’s best game modes would be Gem Grab, Bounty, Siege, and Big Game. Generally, an open map that can cover her mortar would be the best playground for Penny and a nightmare for her enemies.
4. EL PRIMO
El Primo is the true definition of the word brawler as he fights by throwing a flurry of punches at his enemies. His Super is where he jumps at a certain area which deals damage to all those who are caught.
El Primo is one of the best starter brawlers in Brawl Stars, being only a Rare type and a great damage dealer. Aside from that, his health is the highest in the game at 5,800 which is the same as Frank. This is balanced by the fact that he requires to be close to enemy brawlers but once he corners them, they will be decimated. His best game modes would be Boss Fight, Brawl Ball, Robo Rumble, and certain maps on Showdown.
Rosa is the newest brawler in the game but already established herself as one of the best. Her punches are like El Primo’s but with a wider and longer range. As for her Super, she gets covered in a tough plant life that enables her to reduce the damage taken from enemies by 80% for 6 seconds.
The best thing about Rosa is that she is a Rare type which allows for most players to get her easily. Now as for her best game modes, she usually excels at Brawl Ball, Big Game and Gem Grab. Rosa is good at countering long-range brawlers and even short-range brawlers once her Super is activated.
Bull is a shotgun-slinging brawler that deals incredible damage up-close. His Super, allows him to charge through barriers and knock back enemies to escape enemy brawlers.
Being a Common type, Bull is one of the best starter brawlers in Brawl Stars. In fact, it’s not a rare sight to see 3 or more bulls on Showdown since it is one of his best game modes aside from Heist. His quick reloading speed and damaging attack make him a formidable brawler to deal with. In order to truly unleash his full potential, he is best played in maps that are covered in bushes and walls because he easily counters any almost any brawlers at close-range.
Nita’s normal attack is a thunderous shockwave and she summons a large bear to fight beside her as her Super. What catapults Nita into this list is her high health, powering attack and did we mention the bear? Don’t let the cuteness of the bear fool you, it follows enemy brawlers and does massive amounts of damage if dealt alone. What’s even better is that the bear can be summoned anywhere so long as it’s within range. This gives Nita an unlimited amount of combination moves whether for offense or defense.
Players are guaranteed to get Nita as she is unlocked as a reward in Trophy Road upon reaching 10 Trophies. Her best game modes are Gem Grab, Big Game, and Showdown.
Jessie’s normal attack is a shock rifle that shoots energy orbs which bounces between enemies. Her Super is a deadly turret that shoots bullets automatically at enemies in range.
Another Common type brawler, Jessie is one of the best brawlers for team game modes. She is best played at games modes such as Heist, Siege and Boss Fight. Enemy brawlers who move closely in a group will have no choice but to get away from each other as her attack bounces off them. What makes her turret special is that if you have her Star Power, you can shoot it which enables it to heal.
Barley attacks by throwing bottles at enemies doing splash damage. His Super is one big party as he bombards his opponents with bottles of fire.
Barley is a Rare type and has low health. He compensates for this by being a long-range brawler with a unique attack type. His attack is likened to Dynamike which gives them the ability to attack over walls. However, the advantage of Barley is that his bottles engulf the target area with flames hitting everyone especially those who remain in that area.
His best game modes include Heist, Big Game and Siege. Barley is good at maps with a lot of walls which allows him to attack without getting hit.
Spike is a Legendary brawler that throws cactus grenades that deals damage to everyone within range. For his Super, he throws a field of cactus spines that slows down and damages enemy brawlers.
The only two reasons why Spike is the bottom of the list is because of his rarity and slow movement speed. Other than that, he excels in most game modes such as Gem Grab, Showdown, Siege and Brawl Ball. With enough aiming practice, Spike can deal a significant amount of damage to grouped enemies and even in a one-on-one.
